Bechdel Test Burlesque
Produced in partnership with Jo Jo Stiletto, Scarlett O'Hairdye, and Sophie Maltease, Bechdel Test Burlesque kicked off GeekGirlCon 2013 and entertained two sold-out crowds of geek girls and their allies with acts about Wonder Woman, Princess Leia, Buffy Summers, Dana Scully, Major Kira, and the importance of towels (just to name a few).
The "4 Redheads of the Geekpocalypse" assembled a cast of fourteen superheroes of striptease headlined by Miss Indigo Blue (Miss Exotic World 2011), Lola LeSoleil (Southern Fried Burlesque Queen 2013), the Shanghai Pearl, and Iva Handfull (Kansas City Burlesque Festival Queen 2013), and joined by nerdlesque's rising stars: Al Lykya, Bolt Action, Flirty Sanchez, Maxie Milieu, Sara Dipity, Sailor St. Claire, Scarlett O'Hairdye, Sophie Maltease, Trooper, and Trojan Original.
In 2015, the 4 Redheads reunited and worked with associate producer Sin de la Rosa to remount the show with new acts, a new cast, and a mission of ladies helping ladies smash the patriarchy through intersectional feminism. Headlined by New York City's own Poison Ivory, and hosted by The Showgirl Scholar Sailor St. Claire, the 2015 edition of Bechdel Test Burlesque featured Bolt Action, Boom Boom L’Roux, Cafe Au Lait Ole, Hyacinth Lee, Kiki Mustang, The Lady B, Sara Dipity, Satira Sin, Scarlett O’Hairdye, Sin de la Rosa, Sophie Maltease, and Verity Germaine. The show was once again beloved by audiences and critics alike, packing the house with more nerdy feminists than the venue could possibly handle. Check out Amanda M. REMAHKABLE: An Equestrian Burlesque Birthday Spectacular!

For Sailor's 30th Birthday, she decided to finally buy herself a pony -- a whole stable of them, in fact! REMAHKABLE: An Equestrian Burlesque Birthday Spectacular packed the house at the Rendezvous to watch equine burlesque by the likes of Iva Handfull, Mod Carousel, Al Lykya, Billy Scream, Jovie DeVoe, Lady Drew Blood, Mae Kim, Beg, Maressa Fox, Sara Dipity, Scarlett O'Hairdye and Whisper De Corvo. Vanadium Silver kept the audience informed of numerous unbelievable horse facts while Maggie McMuffin and Crystal Tassels trotted away with cast-off costume pieces.
This incredibly silly and strange extravaganza was followed by an incredibly silly and strange dance party in the Grotto featuring music by DJ Selby Von Selby, a 3-layer cheesecake cherpumple, and a whole lot of horse balloons. It was truly a REMAHKABLE evening!

Calendar Girls Burlesque

In January 2014, we started the year off right with a little bump and grind! Calendar Girls was a burlesque revue featuring a different beauty for each month of the year. From wanton wintery women to sizzling summer sexpots, Calendar Girls warmed up two cold January nights and gave audiences something to look forward to in 2014 with each flip of the page.
Calendar Girls featured seasonal acts from Whisper De Corvo, Maggie McMuffin, Olatsa Assassin, The Shanghai Pearl, Dizzy Von Damn, Miss Polly Wood, Lady Drew Blood, Crystal Tassels, Seraphina Fiero, Persephone Illyri, and Scarlett O'Hairdye & Bolt Action. And if that weren't enough spectacle to fill the stage at the Rendezvous JewelBox Theatre, hostess Sailor St. Claire pulled off 12 costume changes with the help of dresser Sara Dipity throughout the night!
This show sold out two nights at the Rendezvous, and received the following review from Miss Indigo Blue, Headmistress of the Academy of Burlesque: "Thumbs Up. Martini Glass. Winky Face."
Naked Bunch: A Happening 60s Cabaret

Based on the underground cabarets of the 1960s literary set, Naked Bunch was a quarterly "happening" that showcased live music, literature and striptease during 2013.
Each edition of Naked Bunch was thematically anchored in the work of a mid-century literary figure, from Burroughs to Kerouac to Bukowski and beyond. Hosted humbly and drunkenly by William S. Slurroughs, and stage managed by beatnik babe Sailor St. Claire.
During the 2013 season, Naked Bunch featured poets Evan J. Peterson, Michael Hodges, fiction writers Anca Szilagyi, Amy Shepherd, Loraine Kanervisto, and more, plus burlesque by Tootsie Spangles, Dizzy Von Damn, Bunny Tonight, and more!
