Sailor St. Claire is a redheaded siren from the shores of California. She set sail for Seattle in 2009 and has been stripping her way around town ever since. She draws her inspiration from Katharine Hepburn’s quick wit, Ann-Margret’s sexy charm, and Tempest Storm’s fiery tease. Known as "The Showgirl Scholar", her brand of burlesque is a classic and sexy combination of sass, sparkle, and smarts that makes seamen and landlubbers alike shout, “Hello, Sailor!”
Sailor is a member of Sinner Saint Burlesque's Beatitudes cast and a co-producer of Naked Girls Reading - Seattle. With Ace Carter, she co-produces Tuesday Tease, Seattle's only monthly burlesque revue at LUCID featuring live musical accompaniment by The Lurid Spectacles.
Sailor can also be found as a soloist on stages throughout Seattle, and makes regular trips back to the shores of San Francisco to appear at the (in)famous Hubba Hubba Revue, Little Minsky's, and Red Hots Burlesque. Recently, she added Portland, OR to her ever-growing list of ports-of-call. In 2012, she performed at the Great Burlesque Exposition in Boston, the Ohio Burlesque Festival in Cleveland, the first ever Alabama Burlesque Festival, Kitty Nights West at the Biltmore Cabaret in Vancouver, British Columbia and made her UK debut in Gutter Lane at Edinburgh's Jekyll & Hyde Pub.

"Some people have natural eloquence. Some people have nice legs. She has both."
Jo Jo Stiletto, The Professor of Nerdlesque Producer, Whedonesque Burlesque & The Burl-X-Files "Riding the line between Neo and Classic." EmpeROAR Fabulous!!!, The Exposing Composer Judge's Choice, 2011 Great Burlesque Exposition in Boston "... [T]he embodiment of every Star Trek fetishist’s dreams- 'Trouble with Tribbles'. Curvaceous redhead Sailor St. Claire’s cheeky take on what exactly one does with those small, purring bundles of fur with no discernible features was eye-popping and hilarious." "A hard act to follow."
Prof. Herb Blau University of Washington "I was looking for wild entertainment for my sister’s bachelorette party, but I wanted something classier than the typical strip joints and bar crawls: Sailor St. Claire was it! She was easy to work with in planning my party and extremely flexible with all my last minute details. A few of my guests were nervous and a little shy, but Sailor was great making everyone feel comfortable with themselves and pushing us to live a little. Her costumes were beautiful, too. It was a party that my family and friends will be talking about for years!" Becky Wilson Redmond, WA |
