Since summer 2013, Sailor St. Claire Presents has transformed Seattle's Annex Theatre into the magical world of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry for Accio Burlesque! This burlesque tribute to Harry Potter features cheeky revelations about the Harry Potter universe. From witches and wizards to magical beasts, Accio Burlesque summons our favorite things from J.K. Rowling’s novels (and the films they inspired) and re-imagines them through the art of the tease. Platform 9 3/4 is now closed for 2015, but it may well open again around this time next year!
This year's show features brand new burlesque tributes to Harry and his friends by:
Alexa Perplexa, Bolt Action, Cherry Tart, Eva Fairwood, Jesus La Pinga, Lady Drew Blood, Mae Zing, Maxie Milieu, Ms. Briq House, Owlbear, Rebecca M. Davis, Sara Dipity, Scarlett O'Hairdye, Seraphina Fiero, Sin de la Rosa, and Val Challah. Hosted, as ever, by Sailor St. Claire as JK Rowling with stage assistance by Razzberry Rocket and Magnolia Monroe.
